Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., April 11 (UPI) -- Rookie Ike Opara found the net in the 82nd minute Saturday, carrying the San Jose Earthquake to a 2-1 victory over Chicago.
Opara, the third pick in the MLS draft, broke a 1-1 tie when he headed a pass from Bobby Convey past Fire goalie Andrew Dykstra with eight minutes left in the contest.
San Jose (1-1-0) got its other goal from Arturo Alvarez at four minutes into the second half when he chipped the ball into an empty net following a collision between Dykstra and a teammate.
Chicago (0-2-1) was led by Marco Pappa, who scored the Fire's only tally.
