BALTIMORE, April 10 (UPI) -- Dana Eveland hurled 7 1/3 innings of shutout ball and Jose Molina drove in two runs Saturday as the Toronto Blue Jays downed Baltimore 3-0.
Eveland (1-0) allowed just five hits and a pair of walks, striking out two, while Jason Frasor pitched a scoreless ninth to gain his third save.
Molina went 2-for-3, collecting a two-out RBI single to center in the sixth to plate Edwin Encarnacion for a 2-0 Blue Jays lead. He also got credit for an RBI when he was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the fourth inning.
Baltimore starter David Hernandez (0-1) got the loss after working six innings, allowing two runs on six hits with four walks and five strikeouts.
Julio Lugo was 2-for-3 in the loss, the Orioles' fourth in five games to start the season.
