Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

SACRAMENTO, April 9 (UPI) -- Tyreke Evans scored 28 points Thursday and the Sacramento Kings dominated the final period to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 116-94.
The Kings outscored the Clippers by 14 in the fourth quarter after taking an eight-point advantage into the period, thus ending an eight-game losing streak.
Sacramento shot 54 percent from the field and Evans made 12-of-19 shots. Jason Thompson added 22 and Carl Landry had 14.
The Clippers, who have dropped seven in a row, got 23 points from Chris Kaman.
Sacramento outrebounded Los Angeles by 15 and came up with 31 points from its bench compared with 16 for the Clippers.
