CLEVELAND, April 9 (UPI) -- Danny Granger scored 36 points Friday, 13 of which came in the fourth quarter, and Indiana held on for a 116-113 victory over Cleveland.
It was only the fifth home loss of the season for the Cavaliers.
Anthony Parker brought Cleveland within one by hitting a 3-pointer with 6 seconds to play. Granger then hit two foul shots to boost the lead back to three with 3 seconds to go. Parker missed a 3-point attempt at the buzzer.
Cleveland again rested superstar LeBron James for the playoffs. The Cavaliers have clinched the best record in the NBA.
All five Indiana starters scored in double figures. Brandon Rush and Earl Watson had 16 points each.
Cleveland was led by J.J. Hickson with 21 points and 10 rebounds. The Cavaliers had won their 11 previous home games and fell to 35-5 on their own court.
