CALGARY, Alberta, April 7 (UPI) -- Rob Blake and Jamie McGinn scored Tuesday to help the San Jose Sharks beat Calgary 2-1 and clinch the Pacific Division championship.

Evgeni Nabokov made 38 saves in the contest, which pushed the Flames closer to elimination from playoff contention.

Rene Bourque scored Calgary's only goal on a power play in the third period. Miikka Kiprusoff turned in 24 saves.

San Jose opened scoring midway through the first period on Blake's slapshot during a power play. McGinn made it 2-0 at 5:47 of the second when he pounced on a rebound off Logan Couture's blast from the right point.
