Woods is scheduled to tee off at 1:42 p.m. in his first PGA Tour event since the Tour Championship last year.

The world's top-ranked golfer had been away from the tour and undergoing rehab after admitting to marital infidelity.

Woods announced last month that he would return to competition at the Masters, which he won in 1997, 2001, 2002 and 2005.

On Monday, Woods said the encouragement he received during a practice round at Augusta National "blew me away."
