MLS: Los Angeles 2, Chivas USA 0

CARSON, Calif., April 2 (UPI) -- Edson Buddle scored twice for Los Angeles Thursday and the Galaxy beat Chivas USA 2-0.

Buddle scored his second goal of the season in the 7th minute and then scored again in the 87th minute. He has logged the game-winning goal in both of the Galaxy's wins to open their MLS season.

LA opened with a 1-0 win over New England.

Chivas (0-2) opend with a 1-0 loss to Colorado.
