COL BKB (W): Connecticut 90, Fla. State 50

DAYTON, Ohio, March 30 (UPI) -- Maya Moore pumped in 22 points Tuesday, leading top-seeded Connecticut to a 90-50 win over Florida State in the NCAA Women's Tournament Dayton Regional final.

Moore also pulled down eight rebounds and Tina Charles finished with 20 points and 14 rebounds as UConn (37-0) won its 76th straight game and advanced to the Final Four for the third consecutive year -- their eighth appearance since 2000.

Tiffany Hayes contributed 13 points and dished out seven assists for Connecticut, which advances to face Baylor and star freshman Brittney Griner in the Final Four.

FSU was down by only four points midway through the first half, but the Huskies then went on a 17-7 run to pull away and ended the initial frame with a 42-28 advantage. UConn used a stingy defense to shut down the Seminoles, holding them to a meager 31.4 percent shooting percentage.

Third-seeded Florida State (29-6) was paced by Jacinta Monroe, who scored 15 points and pulled down eight rebounds in the loss, while Alysha Harvin contributed 10 points.
