NHL: San Jose 4, Colorado 3

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 28 (UPI) -- Devin Setoguchi collected San Jose's first and last goals Sunday as the Sharks skated past Colorado 4-3.

Dan Boyle chipped in with a goal and an assist for the Sharks, who won their fourth straight game and posted a four-point lead over Phoenix for both the Pacific Division and Western Conference top spots.

Jed Ortmeyer added a goal for San Jose while Sharks goaltender Thomas Greiss turned aside a career-high 42 shots.

The Sharks were missing star center Joe Thornton, who was pulled from the contest with a lower body injury.

Peter Mueller scored a pair of goals for the Avalanche, who have lost five of their last six and are hanging on to the final conference playoff spot. Kevin Porter also scored and Craig Anderson made 28 stops for Colorado.
