CAP CANA, Dominican Republic, March 26 (UPI) -- Nick Price and Chip Beck shared the lead Friday after one round of the Champions Tour Cap Cana Championship in the Dominican Republic.

The co-leaders finished at 6-under 66 over the Jack Nicklaus-designed Punta Espada Golf Club course.

Beck, 53, is looking for his first victory on the Champions Tour after having won four times on the regular PGA circuit.

Fred Couples, who has won two of the tour's first four events this season, was a shot back along with Larry Mize, Olin Browne and David Peoples.

U.S. Ryder Cup captain Corey Pavin was in the group at 68. Bernhard Langer, second on the money list behind Couples, fired a 71.
