TORONTO, March 23 (UPI) -- David Booth collected a pair of goals Tuesday to power the Florida Panthers to a 4-1 victory over Toronto.

Booth got a pair of goals for the first time this season and Scott Clemmensen stopped a season-high 42 shots as the Panthers won their second straight.

With the win, Florida remains seven points behind Boston for the eighth and final Eastern Conference slot with 10 games left.

Michael Frolik also lit the lamp for the Panthers while Jason Garrison added an empty-netter to nail down the victory.

Toronto's lone goal came from Fredrik Sjostrom while Jean-Sebastien Giguere turned aside 25 shots in the loss.
