
NEW YORK, March 21 (UPI) -- Aaron Brooks got hot late, sinking 7 of his 16 points down the stretch Sunday to boost the Houston Rockets to a 116-112 won over New York.
Kevin Martin netted 28 points while Kyle Lowry and Chase Budinger each contributed 18 points as Houston won its fifth game in 6 outings.
Jordan Hill chipped in with 13 points off the bench while Trevor Ariza notched 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the Rockets.
The Knicks got a monster game from David Lee as he returned to the lineup after missing one contest with knee tendinitis. He ended with 27 points, 20 rebounds and six assists for New York, while Toney Douglas tied a Knicks rookie record with six 3-pointers en route to 26 points.
Danilo Gallinari also chipped in with had 26 in New York's loss.
