NEW ORLEANS, March 21 (UPI) -- Darius Miller scored 20 points and grabbed 9 rebounds Saturday to pace Kentucky to a 90-60 rout of Wake Forest in a second-round NCAA Tournament game.

Miller got 16 of his points in the first half, shooting 7-of-9 from the field, while DeMarcus Cousins contributed 19 points and eight rebounds for Kentucky, the top seed in the East Region and the de facto No. 1 in the NCAA Tournament with Saturday's elimination of Kansas.

The Wildcats (34-2) were sizzling from the field, shooting 60.3 percent for the game. John Wall scored 14 points and distributed seven assists while Eric Bledsoe chipped in with 13 in the victory, which sent Kentucky to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2005.

Al-Farouq Aminu ended with 16 points to lead ninth-seeded Wake Forest (20-11) while C.J. Harris added 11 points in the defeat. The Demon Deacons could manage only 32.8 percent shooting from the field.
