Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

NEWARK, N.J., March 20 (UPI) -- Ty Conklin stopped 29 shots Saturday, notching his fourth shutout of the season and lifting the St. Louis Blues to a 1-0 decision over New Jersey.
Alexander Steen got the game's only goal, putting the puck past New Jersey goaltender Martin Brodeur late in the first period on a slap shot to provide the winning margin.
St. Louis recorded its ninth in 12 games and climbed to within four points of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Brodeur ended up with 19 saves for New Jersey, which saw its five-game home winning streak snapped and fell two points behind Pittsburgh for first place in the Atlantic Division.
