NEW YORK, March 19 (UPI) -- Toney Douglas produced 14 of his 22 points in the final period Friday in rallying New York to a 92-88 victory over Philadelphia.
New York came back from a nine-point deficit in the fourth quarter, thanks in large part to three 3-pointers by Douglas down the stretch.
Danilo Gallinari scored 25 points for the Knicks, who have won two of their last three. New York clinched the game when Douglas made 1-of-2 free throws with 2 seconds remaining.
The Knicks played without David Lee, who is suffering from a sore knee and missed his first game of the season.
Elton Brand led Philadelphia with 19 points. The 76ers have lost five of their last six games, including a 94-84 home setback to the Knicks on Monday.
