OAKLAND, Calif., March 18 (UPI) -- Anthony Tolliver led Golden State in a fourth-quarter comeback Wednesday that gave the Warriors an unlikely 131-121 decision over New Orleans.
Golden State trailed by 20 in the third period, but cut its deficit to eight points with 12 minutes to go and then piled up 43 points in the fourth quarter.
The Warriors won for just the 19th time this season, second fewest victories in the Western Conference.
Tolliver scored 30 points while making 11-of-19 shots, Monta Ellis had 28 and Reggie Williams added 22.
New Orleans had won its first three meetings with Golden State this season and had been trying for its first four-game sweep in eight years.
The Hornets fell despite a 36-point effort from David West, who was 14-of-26 from the field and 8-of-8 from the line.
