Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

HOUSTON, March 17 (UPI) -- Aaron Brooks was perfect in his seven 3-point attempts and scored 31 points Wednesday, helping boost Houston past Memphis 107-94.
Memphis had a team-record, seven-game road winning streak halted and Houston won its fourth in a row, its longest string of victories this season.
Brooks established a franchise record for most 3-point shots in a game without a miss. He made 11-14 shots overall and paced Houston to 53 percent shooting.
Luis Scola added 20 points and 17 rebounds and Kevin Martin had 18. Houston jumped past Memphis into ninth place in the Western Conference but trails Portland by 4 1/2 games for the final playoff position.
Memphis got 30 points and 15 rebounds from Zach Johnson.
