OAKLAND, Calif., March 16 (UPI) -- Kobe Bryant had 29 points and the Los Angeles Lakers survived a late rush by Golden State to beat the Warriors 124-121.
Pau Gasol scored 26 points, Andrew Bynum had 19 points and 14 rebounds and Lamar Odom had 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Lakers, who have won three straight.
Stephen Curry finished with 29 points and nine rebounds and Chris Hunter scored a career-high 22 points for Golden State, which has lost seven of its last eight games.
Monta Ellis, who shot just 5-of-23 from the field and finished with 13 points, got the Warriors within 123-121 with a layup with 10.6 seconds remaining.
After Bryant made 1-of-2 from the free throw line 2 second later, Ellis grabbed a rebound off of a 3-point attempt by Curry and got off a shot in the closing seconds. The ball bounced straight up off the rim three times before bouncing away as time expired.
