CLEVELAND, March 14 (UPI) -- The Cleveland Browns Sunday traded quarterback Brady Quinn to the Denver Broncos Sunday, Browns officials said.
The trade was made only a day after it was reported that the Browns reached an agreement with veteran free agent quarterback Jake Delhomme.
In return for Quinn, a former first-round draft pick, the Browns will get fullback Peyton Hillis, a 2011 sixth-round draft pick and a conditional 2012 draft pick.
Quinn, 25, is a former Notre Dame star who played in 10 games -- including nine starts -- for the Browns last season, throwing for 1,339 yards with eight touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Cleveland earlier cut former Pro Bowl quarterback Derek Anderson after acquiring Seneca Wallace from Seattle in a trade.
