
NASHVILLE, March 13 (UPI) -- DeMarcus Cousins pumped in 19 points and pulled down 15 rebounds Saturday as No. 2 Kentucky downed No. 13 Tennessee 74-45 in an SEC Tournament semifinal.
Eric Bledsoe got 17 points, including five 3-pointers, while John Wall chipped in with 14 points, nine assists and six rebounds for Kentucky (31-2), which was to meet the winner of Saturday's Vanderbilt-Mississippi State semifinal.
Cousins also got three steals and two blocks for the Wildcats, who heated up in the second half, pouring in 42 points to turn the contest into a rout. Kentucky has won the SEC Tournament 25 times and owns a 112-22 all-time tourney record.
Tennessee (25-8) got 11 points from Scotty Hopson, the lone Volunteer in double figures. UT registered a poor 30.9 shooting percentage from the field.
