NEW ORLEANS, March 12 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony helped Denver on a late run Friday that lifted the Nuggets to a 102-95 decision over New Orleans.
Anthony had 32 points and 12 rebounds, pacing Denver to its fifth straight victory.

Neither side had more than a four-point lead until the Nuggets closed the game on a 16-9 surge. The contest had been deadlocked midway through the fourth quarter.
Chauncey Billups added 21 points for Denver, Nene had 17 points and Johan Petro scored 10. There were 19 lead changes and 21 ties in the contest.
David West scored 30 for the Hornets and Marcus Thornton had 23. New Orleans has lost six of its last seven.
