Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
WASHINGTON, March 9 (UPI) -- Luis Scola scored 23 points and Kevin Martin added 21 Tuesday as the Houston Rockets downed Washington 96-88.
Scola pulled down 10 rebounds, Aaron Brooks donated 14 points and Trevor Ariza chipped in with 13 for the Rockets, who ended a three-game road trip with a win and a 2-1 record.
The Wizards were led by Nick Young and Andray Blatche with 18 points each while Al Thorton came up with 15 points and nine boards.
With the loss, Washington dropped its sixth game in seven contests.
