NEW YORK, March 8 (UPI) -- Danilo Gallinari scored 27 points, including four 3-pointers, as the New York Knicks eked out a 99-98 victory over Atlanta Monday.

David Lee added 19 points and 13 boards while Al Harrington pumped in 14 points off the bench for the Knicks, who shot 10-of-15 from beyond the arc one game after setting an NBA mark for futility by going 0-for-18 on 3-point tries in a loss to New Jersey.

New York hung on for its second win in six games when Atlanta's Al Horford wasn't able to get off a potential game-winning shot at the final buzzer.

The Hawks got 25 points and 10 rebounds from Josh Smith while Joe Johnson finished with 22 points.
