
SALT LAKE CITY, March 7 (UPI) -- Mehmet Okur netted 27 points while Carlos Boozer added 17 and grabbed 17 boards to spark the Utah Jazz to a 107-85 win over the Los Angeles Clippers Saturday.
Deron Williams registered a double-double, notching 10 points and 10 assists, while Kyle Korver chipped 12 points as the Jazz downed the Clippers for the 40th time in 41 games in Salt Lake City.
Wesley Matthews and C.J. Miles added 11 points each in Utah's win. The Clips trailed by only a point at the half, but the Jazz opened the third period with a 7-0 run, capped by a Boozer hook shot. Los Angeles did not mount a serious challenge thereafter.
Drew Gooden led the Clippers with 20 points and 12 rebounds while Chris Kaman added 12 points and 13 caroms in the loss.
