DURHAM, N.C., March 7 (UPI) -- Kyle Singler poured in 19 of his 25 points during a big first half, powering No. 4 Duke to an 82-50 rout of North Carolina Saturday.

With the win, the Blue Devils (26-5, 13-3 ACC) clinched their 12th ACC regular season title under head Coach Mike Krzyzewski and grabbed the top seed in next week's conference tournament.

Jon Scheyer netted 20 points in his final home game as Duke rebounded from a loss at Maryland this week with a win and closed the season by taking nine of its final 10 games.

The Tar Heels (16-15, 5-11) got 14 points from John Henson while Deon Thompson added 11 in the loss, the first time North Carolina was swept by the Blue Devils in a season's series since 2003-04.
