BREE, Belgium, March 6 (UPI) -- Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek took a doubles victory Saturday that allowed the Czech Republic to win a Davis Cup series over Belgium.

Berdych and Stepanek also won Friday's singles matches, giving the Czech Republic three wins in the best-of-five series. The Czechs will meet the winner of a series between Chile and Israel in the Davis Cup quarterfinals in July.

As they did in singles, Berdych and Stepanek won in straight sets Saturday, taking care of Belgians Steve Darcis and Olivier Rochus 7-6 (7-0), 6-0, 6-3.

After the shutout in the first-set tie-breaker, the Czechs allowed Darcis and Rochus just 11 points in the second set, only one of which came when either Berdych or Stepanek was serving.

The Czechs faced only one break point in the match.
