COL BKB: Tennessee 75, Mississippi St. 59

STARKVILLE, Miss., March 6 (UPI) -- J.P. Prince netted 16 points and Scotty Hopson chipped in with 14 Saturday as No. 13 Tennessee handled Mississippi State 75-59.

Prince pulled down seven boards while Brian Williams, Cameron Tatum and Bobby Maze each donated 10 for the Volunteers (23-7, 11-5 SEC), who are taking a three-game winning streak into next week's Southeastern Conference Tournament.

The game was decided early when Tennessee reeled off a 17-0 run to start the contest.

Mississippi State (21-10, 9-7) got 15 points from Kodi Augustus while Dee Bost and Jarvis Varnado each chipped in with 11.
