COL BKB: Temple 70, George Washington 57

PHILADELPHIA, March 6 (UPI) -- Michael Eric scored 18 points and Ryan Brooks added 14 Saturday to spur No. 16 Temple to a 70-57 win over George Washington.

With the win, the Owls (26-5, 14-2 A-10) grabbed at least a share of the Atlantic 10 conference title and landed the top seed at its tournament.

Lavoy Allen chipped in with 12 points in Temple's win.

The Colonials (16-13, 6-10) were led by Joseph Katuka, who put in 13 points and grabbed 10 caroms while Lasan Kromah chipped in 12 points and Damian Hollis contributed 10 in the loss.
