
COLUMBIA, Mo., March 6 (UPI) -- Tyshawn Taylor and three other Jayhawks tallied in double figures Saturday, lifting No. 2 Kansas to a 77-56 defeat of Missouri.
Taylor scored 13 points, Marcus Morris netted 12 and grabbed 10 caroms, Sherron Collins added 12 and Cole Aldrich donated 10 and seven rebounds for the Jayhawks (29-2, 15-1 Big 12), who clinched the Big 12 regular-season title this week with a win over No. 5 Kansas State.
Kansas decided the game with a 16-0 run close out the first half, posting a 40-24 lead. Collins notched the last eight points in the surge, including a pair of 3-pointers.
Missouri (22-9, 10-6) was led by Kim English with 16 points while Laurence Bowers chipped in with 10 points and J.T. Tiller tallied nine in the loss.
