Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
SAN JOSE, Calif., March 5 (UPI) -- Dany Heatley and Manny Malhotra scored within a 3-minute span of the third period Thursday to lead the San Jose Sharks to a 3-2 comeback win over Montreal.
Patrick Marleau scored the sharks' other goal and Evgeni Nabokov stopped 28 shots -- including all 11 he faced in the third -- to help San Jose snap a two-game losing streak.
Scott Gomez and Brian Gionta had a goal and an assist apiece and Carey Price posted 37 saves for the Canadiens, who have lost three of their last four games.
