NHL: Los Angeles 5, Dallas 1

DALLAS, March 2 (UPI) -- Jonathan Quick turned in 31 saves Tuesday to lead the Los Angeles Kings to a 5-1 win over Dallas.

Alexander Frolov had a goal and two assists for the Kings, who have won four of their last six contests.

Anze Kopitar, Brad Richardson, Jarret Stoll and Ryan Smith accounted for the other Los Angeles goals. The Kings were outshot by the Stars 32-22.

Marty Turco gave up all five LA goals. Mike Ribeiro tallied the only goal for Dallas on a power play at 5:19 of the third period.

Los Angeles jumped ahead on Stoll's goal at 5:44 of the first period. The Kings took a 4-0 lead in the second period on goals by Frolov, Richardson and Smyth.

Kopitar closed out the scoring on a power play with 7 seconds left in the game.
