ORLANDO, Fla., March 2 (UPI) -- Golfer Tiger Woods has returned to his Florida home after undergoing a week of family counseling, a source told CNN Tuesday.

Citing a person with knowledge of his schedule, the U.S. broadcaster reported that the world's No. 1 golfer was back in his Isleworth, Fla., home after returning from Arizona and is getting back into his golfing and workout routines.

The source told CNN there is no definite timetable for Woods to return to the PGA Tour.

The athlete took an indefinite leave of absence after a November car accident outside his home led to revelations of numerous extramarital affairs and a media firestorm. He admitted infidelity and "irresponsible and selfish" behavior during a televised apology he issued last month, and indicated that questions about whether he and his wife Elin Nordegren would stay together "will remain between the two of us."

Since the incident, several of the golfer's sponsors -- such as AT&T, Accenture and PepsiCo's Gatorade brand -- have ended their marketing agreements with him.

Mets' Beltran queried in doping probe

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla., March 2 (UPI) -- New York Mets centerfielder Carlos Beltran said Tuesday he has talked to authorities investigating a doctor linked to doping allegations.

Beltran, speaking to reporters at Mets' spring training facility in Port St. Lucie, Fla., confirmed he had discussed Canadian doctor Anthony Galea with investigators, The New York Times reported.

"They already speak to me, the authorities speak to me last week," Beltran said. "They asked me a lot of questions about Dr. Galea's case and then basically that."

The newspaper, citing people briefed on the investigation, reported that authorities also are seeking to speak with former Mets first baseman Carlos Delgado regarding Galea, who has been charged by Canadian officials with trying to smuggle human growth hormone and other drugs into the United States.

New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez confirmed Monday he had spoken to authorities regarding Galea but would not say if he had ever been treated by him.

The Times said U.S. authorities have obtained information that several professional football players who were treated by Galea received performance-enhancing drugs from him.

He holds the record for most career playoff games (266), collecting 144 post-season points (31 goals, 113 assists) while winning the Stanley Cup with Montreal (1986) and twice with Detroit (2002 and 2008).

Oregon State extends Robinson's contract

CORVALLIS, Ore., March 2 (UPI) -- Oregon State men's head basketball Coach Craig Robinson has agreed to a two-year contract extension, school officials said Tuesday.

Oregon State University Athletics Director Bob De Carolis said the agreement in principle would take Robinson through the 2015-16 season.

Robinson came to Oregon State after leaving his head coaching position at Brown University following the 2007-08 season. He took on a struggling program that had just completed a 6-25 season, in the process becoming the first team in Pac-10 history to go 0-18 in conference play.

Since then, the Beavers have gone 31-33, taking the College Basketball Invitational tournament in a best-of-three series with UTEP in 2008-09. OSU is 13-15 this season with two games remaining on its schedule.

"This extension represents a mutual commitment to the future of Oregon State men's basketball," Robinson said. "We will continue to recruit the best student-athletes, invest in our facilities and build a successful team on and off the court. We have ambitious goals and look forward to returning the Oregon State basketball program to prominence."
