
LOS ANGELES, March 2 (UPI) -- Eric Gordon had 24 points Monday and the Los Angeles Clippers beat Utah 108-104 despite letting a 17-point fourth-quarter lead nearly slip away.
Baron Davis -- who committed nine of the Clippers' 19 turnovers -- had 19 points and 12 assists for LA, which won for the first time in three games. The Jazz scored 26 points of off Clippers' turnovers.
Drew Gooden had 19 points and 11 rebounds, Chris Kaman had 18 points and 14 boards, and Rasual Butler scored 13 for LA -- which shot 26-of-29 from the foul line in its first win over the Jazz after six straight setbacks.
Carlos Boozer led Utah with 20 points. Deron Williams had 13 points, 13 assists and five steals for the Jazz, who trailed 101-89 with 2:38 remaining but got within 103-101 with 40.3 seconds left.
Williams went to the line to shoot two with 16.6 seconds left but missed both shots.
