
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Randy Foye hit a pair of jump shots during the final minute Sunday to key the Washington Wizards' 89-85 win over New Jersey.
Andray Blatche led Washington with a career-high 36 points on 17-of-31 shooting from the field. He finished with 15 rebounds and four assists for the Wizards, who got 20 points and eight rebounds from Al Thornton to break a two-game losing streak.
Foye -- who finished with 16 points -- connected from the baseline with 44.6 seconds left and then struck again with 13.5 to play to help Washington hand the Nets their 52nd loss of the season.
Yi Jianlian scored 20 points and grabbed a career-best 19 rebounds for New Jersey. Devin Harris finished with 18 points, 14 assists and seven rebounds, and Brook Lopez had 16 points and 10 boards for the Nets.
