COL BKB: Kansas State 65, Missouri 53

MANHATTAN, Kan., Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Four players scored in double figures Saturday to pace No. 6 Kansas State to a 63-53 victory over Missouri.

Jamar Samuels notched 14 points, Denis Clemente and Jacob Pullen added 11 points apiece and Curtis Kelly chipped in with 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Wildcats (24-4, 11-3 Big 12) gained sole possession of second place in the conference standings.

Dominique Sutton ended with seven points and 11 caroms for Kansas State, which used a 15-2 run early in the second half to put the game away. Pullen's trey started the spurt and Samuels capped it with another 3-point basket at 12-minute mark.

Missouri (21-8, 9-5) got 13 points from Kim English while J.T. Tiller added 11 and Keith Ramsey and Zaire Taylor each contributed 10 in the loss.
