DELRAY BEACH, Fla., Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Croatian Ivo Karlovic and Ernests Gulbis of Latvia won Saturday to advance to the finals of the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships in Florida.
Karlovic, the 6-foot-10 second seed, breezed past American wild card Mardy Fish 6-2, 6-3 in one semifinal match, while Gulbis dispatched Jarkko Nieminen of Finland 6-4, 6-4 in the other contest at Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center.

The Gulbis-Nieminen match was interrupted by rain with Gulbis leading in the second set. After the delay, Gulbis emerged to complete the win to gain the first singles title match of his career.
Karlovic, seeking his fifth ATP title, has never faced Gulbis in match play.
