
MEMPHIS, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Stephen Jackson poured in 32 points and grabbed 11 rebounds Friday as the Charlotte Bobcats posted a 93-89 decision over Memphis.
Boris Diaw chipped in with 18 points and Tyrus Thomas netted 13 for the Bobcats, who managed to notch a victory on the last stop of a previously winless four-game road trip.
After Memphis went out in front 87-85 with 3 1/2 minutes to play, Charlotte responded with back-to-back 3-pointers from Jackson and Diaw, posting the Bobcats to a 91-87 advantage they would not relinquish.
The Grizzlies had three chances in the final minute to tie the game with 3-pointers but missed all of them.
Zach Randolph ended with 24 points and 10 boards for the Grizzlies, while Rudy Gay added 20, O.J. Mayo contributed 14 and Mike Conley chipped with 13 in the loss.
