NEW YORK, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- The Dallas Cowboys will play the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2010 Hall of Fame game, kicking off the NFL's pre-season, the league announced Wednesday.

The game is scheduled to be played Aug. 8 at Canton, Ohio.

Dallas last played in the contest in 1999, Cincinnati in 1988.

The game will follow an induction ceremony in which Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith, Rickey Jackson, Russ Grimm, Floyd Little, Dick LeBeau and John Randle will join the Hall of Fame.

The Tennessee Titans defeated the Buffalo Bills 21-18 in last year's game at Canton.
