Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
VILLANOVA, Pa., Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Scottie Reynolds scored 21 points Wednesday and No. 8 Villanova pounded the South Florida Bulls 74-49.
The Wildcats had an 11-point advantage at halftime and a 14-4 run in the second half sent them on their way to the blowout victory.
Antonio Pena had 14 points and Corey Stokes added 11 for Villanova (23-4, 12-3 Big East), which had lost its previous two contests.
Dominique Jones, with 12 points, was the top scorer for South Florida (16-11, 6-9), which committed 22 turnovers.
