COL BKB: Ohio State 75, Penn State 67

STATE COLLEGE, Pa., Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Ohio State's Evan Turner scored 25 points Wednesday and the ninth-ranked Buckeyes outlasted Penn State 75-67.

Turner, who also had seven assists, had a run of eight straight points in the closing minutes to help OSU (22-7, 12-4 Big Ten) rack up its eighth win in nine games.

David Lighty added 18 points, Jon Diebler had 16 and William Buford 12 for the Buckeyes.

Talor Battle led the Nittany Lions (10-17, 2-13) with 22 points.
