Olympic Medal: W Biathlon Relay

WHISTLER, British Columbia, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Russia won the Olympic gold medal Tuesday in the women's 24-kilometer biathlon relay.

France took the silver and Germany captured the bronze.

The Russians, anchored by Olga Zaitseva, had a 33-second margin of victory. They have won the event in three of the last five Olympics.
