COL BKB: Syracuse 99, Providence 85

PROVIDENCE, R.I., Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Rick Jackson and Andy Rautins had 28 points apiece Tuesday to lead fourth-ranked Syracuse to a 99-85 win over Providence.

Rautins was good on 8-of-12 3-point shots. Arinze Onuaku had 12 points and Wes Johnson scored 10 for the Orange (26-2, 13-2 Big East), who have won two straight since a Feb. 14 loss to Louisville and are in first place in the conference.

Jamine Peterson and Marshon Brooks scored 23 points apiece for the Friars (12-15, 4-11), who lost their seventh straight game.
