NBA: New Orleans 102, Houston 94

NEW ORLEANS, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Darren Collison scored 26 points, including 12 in the final period, to lift the New Orleans Hornets to a 102-94 triumph over Houston Sunday.

David West led the Hornets with 27 points and pulled down nine rebounds, Morris Peterson contributed 15 points and Peja Stojakovic added 14 to give the Hornets their third win in four contests.

West and Collison teamed up to score New Orleans' final 15 points.

Chase Budinger led the Rockets with 18 points as Houston lost for fifth time in six games. Aaron Brooks chipped in with 15 points while Kevin Martin netted 13 in the defeat.
