Olympic Medal: W 1500m Short Track

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Zhou Yang of China won the Olympic gold medal Saturday in the women's 1,500-meter short-track speed skating race.

The silver and bronze medals went to skaters from South Korea -- Eun-Byul Lee and Seung-Hi Park.

China's Wang Ming, who had won a medal in all four of her previous Olympic races, was disqualified in the semifinals.
