Olympic Medal: Large Hill Ski Jumping

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Simon Ammann of Switzerland won the Olympic gold medal Saturday in large hill ski jumping.

Ammann has won a record four Olympic gold medals in ski jumping and he is also the gold medal record holder for Switzerland in both the Summer and Winter Games.

The final results were a duplicate of the normal hill event held on the first day of the Vancouver Games.

The silver medal went to Adam Malysz of Poland the bronze to Gregor Schlierenzauer of Austria.
