
LAWRENCE, Kan., Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Xavier Henry scored 24 points and Cole Aldrich netted 17 Saturday as No. 1 Kansas pounded Colorado 94-74.
Aldrich grabbed 10 rebounds while Tyshawn Taylor notched 17 points and Sherron Collins chipped in with 13 points and seven assists for the Jayhawks (26-1, 12-0 Big 12), who remained undefeated at home.
Kansas was hot from the floor, shooting 54.7 percent overall and 9-of-20 from 3-point territory. The Jayhawks benefited from 11 points and seven rebounds off the bench from Markieff Morris.
The Buffaloes (12-14, 3-9) were led by Alec Burks with 17 points while Marcus Relphorde added 16 and Cory Higgins contributed 13 points. Colorado was bedeviled by mistakes, turning the ball over 19 times in the loss, its fifth in six games.
