Olympic Medal: M Alpine Super G

WHISTLER, British Columbia, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Aksel Lund Svindal of Norway won the Olympic gold medal Friday in the men's super-giant slalom.

Americans Bode Miller and Andrew Weibrecht captured the silver and bronze medals.

Svindal and Miller won the silver and bronze in the downhill Monday. The downhill gold medal winner, Didier Defago of Switzerland, finished 15th Friday.
