Olympic Medal: W 15km Biathlon

WHISTLER, British Columbia, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Tora Berger of Norway won the Olympic gold medal Thursday in the women's 15-kilometer biathlon event.

Elena Khrustaleva of Kazakhstan was awarded the silver. The bronze went to Darya Domracheva of Belarus.

It was the first medal of the Olympics for both Kazakhstan and Belarus
