Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

NEW ORLEANS, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Paul Millsap had 24 points and eight rebounds and Carlos Boozer had 16 points and 15 boards Wednesday to lead the Utah Jazz past New Orleans 98-90.
Deron Williams finished with 15 points and 10 assists and Mehmet Okur had 10 points and eight rebounds for the Jazz, who have won 11 out of their last 12 games.
Peja Stojakovic and Darren Collison scored 24 points apiece and Marcus Thornton scored 14 for New Orleans, which lost for the fifth time in eight games since losing Chris Paul to a knee injury. Collison had nine assists.
The Jazz took a one-point lead into the fourth quarter and the score was tied 85-85 with 3:26 left to play. The Jazz went up 94-87 with 45 seconds remaining to put the game away.
