Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
DALLAS, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki scored 28 and all five Dallas starters scored in double figures Wednesday in the Mavericks' 107-97 win over Phoenix.
Jason Kidd had 18 points and 10 assists, Jason Terry scored 17, Caron Butler scored 15 and his fellow newcomer to Dallas, Brendan Haywood, scored 10 for the Mavericks -- who came into the game with six losses in their previous eight games.
Shawn Marion finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds for Dallas.
Amare Stoudemire had 30 points and 14 rebounds for the Suns. Jason Richardson had 19 points and Robin Lopez scored 14 for Phoenix, which came into the contest with six wins in its previous seven games.
